About our Presenter:
League of Women Voters of South Hampton Roads
This month, we are pleased to welcome a guest speaker from the League of Women Voters of South Hampton Roads. The League is a nonpartisan civic organization dedicated to encouraging informed and active participation in government through voter education, community outreach, and public discussion of important issues.
The League works throughout our region to provide reliable election information, host candidate forums, and help residents better understand how decisions made by local and state governments affect their communities. Their presentation will highlight the League’s work in South Hampton Roads and share ways residents can stay informed, engaged, and involved in civic life.
