Meet Your Civic League Leadership
The Lafayette-Winona Civic League is a volunteer-led organization dedicated to strengthening our neighborhood, advocating for residents, preserving our community's character, and fostering connections among neighbors.
Each year, Civic League members elect officers to serve on the Board of Directors. Committee chairs are appointed by the Board to lead specific programs, outreach efforts, events, and neighborhood initiatives.
🗳️ How Participation Works
The Civic League conducts business using Robert's Rules of Order, which helps meetings stay organized, fair, and transparent.
For the Good of the Order
Before each meeting is adjourned, members are invited to raise concerns, share ideas, ask questions, or bring up neighborhood issues that may not be on the formal agenda.
Strong neighborhoods are built when residents are informed, engaged, and empowered to participate.
