If you’ve been meaning to donate, this is your last chance to contribute through the neighborhood collection. Every item helps support families across SE Hampton Roads.
As the holidays approach, the neighborhoods of Lafayette and Winona are coming together to support our neighbors in need. This season, our community is collecting donations for the Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia & the Eastern Shore, which is facing an increased demand as families navigate food insecurity, rising costs, and delays in assistance.
Let’s finish this drive strong and continue to show what it means to give with Love from Lafayette-Winona.

The Food Bank is especially in need of shelf-stable, nutritious staples, including:
- Grains (rice, pasta, bulk oatmeal)
- Canned goods
- Cooking staples (oils, flour, sugar, baking powder & baking soda)
- Shelf-stable milk
- Boxed meals
- Snacks
- Spices
