Holiday Lights & Neighborly Nights: Join Us for a Lafayette-Winona Holiday Walk πŸŽ„βœ¨

Looking for a festive way to meet your neighbors, enjoy holiday lights, and spend some relaxed time outdoors this season? The Lafayette-Winona Civic

League invites you to join us for a Neighborhood Holiday Walk on December 19 β€” a casual, welcoming event for neighbors of all ages (kids optional!).

This is a chance to slow down during the busy holiday season, connect with people who live nearby, and enjoy the simple joy of walking our neighborhood together.

How It Works

We’ll gather and walk through Lafayette-Winona as a group, stopping at homes along the route that have volunteered to host a small table with holiday cookies, snacks, beverages, or all of the above. Some homes may want to be part of the fun by having us stop to admire their festive holiday lights β€” and that’s perfectly wonderful too!

At the end of the walk, we’ll return to our starting point, where the celebration will continue at the home of one of our Civic League members.

Want to Participate?

  • Hosting a stop with treats or beverages

  • Showing off your holiday lights

  • Just walking and enjoying the evening

All are welcome! You don’t need to be a Civic League member to attend or participate.

If you’d like to add your home to the route, simply use the QR code below to sign up. Every stop β€” big or small β€” helps make the evening more special.

A Great Event for Families and Neighbors Alike

This walk is especially fun for families, giving kids a chance to meet and play with other neighborhood kids while adults catch up and make new connections. Whether you stay for the whole route or just part of the evening, we’re glad to have you.
