Ricky will discuss disaster preparedness in Norfolk\, including how residents can better prepare for hurricanes\, flooding\, severe weather\, and other emergencies that may impact our area. Prior to joining the City of Norfolk\, he spent nearly a decade working as a broadcast meteorologist in Hampton Roads\, helping keep the community informed during severe weather events and emergencies. His background in weather communication and public safety now supports his work helping Norfolk residents and neighborhoods better prepare for disasters and emergencies.
